Question

How do I get a sales report for specific days of the week, like Thursday or Saturday for example?

I need to know how much my total sales were for Thursdays and Saturdays of the entire last year. Is there a way to find this in a report? So far I've only found a report that shows daily sales like the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc., but not totals for all Thursdays added up or Saturdays, etc. Thanks for any ideas!

Let me provide some details about generating sales reports for specific days in QuickBooks, @HappyHill

I can see the relevance of having a sales statement showing specific days to you and your business. Currently, choosing an exact day for a report is unavailable.

As a workaround, we can export the sales statement to Excel. From there, you can manipulate the data and make the necessary changes.

Here's how:

  1. From the left menu, choose Reports.
  2. Select the sales statement.
  3. Click the Export icon.
  4. Choose the Export to Excel option.

I've also included some articles that help you streamline the reporting process in QuickBooks:
