How do I post an intangible asset (Goodwill) within Quickbooks as there is no option for this type of asset? Thanks

I would advise you speak to and consult with a trained qualified accountant who will be able to advise you on the correct type of account you need to put it against.  As we are not trained and qualified accountants just technical support.
