I have a few steps on how to restart your software, @stevenwavery04-g.

In QuickBooks Online Plus and Essential, if your account has been active for less done 60 days, you can delete the data and start a new one.

To reset your account, please see the steps below:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Modify the URL on the address bar. remove everything after app/and enter purgecompany. For example: https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany
  3. Select Yes to confirm the action.
  4. On the next page, click Wipe data.

When the deletion is complete, you will be rerouted to your homepage and do your QuickBooks task.

If your account has been active for more than 90 days, we have to cancel your account, then start a new subscription.

Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online software.
  2. Select the Settings ⚙ menu, then choose Account and Settings.

  3. Click the Billing and Subscription tab.
  4. Click Cancel Subscription.

  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.

Once done, visit the QuickBooks homepage and sign up for the latest account. You can utilize the same user ID and password that you used previously.

Once everything is settled, we can start to download, import, and set up sales and vendor transactions. For more detailed steps, you may read through this article: Get started with QuickBooks Online.
