How to display Account Description in the Company Overview report?

How can one display the Account Description field in the Company Overview report?

 

I am converting from Desktop to Online and my Desktop reports display the Account Description field if it is filled in.  I would like the same facility in Online.

Hello ObigKim9, Welcome to the Community. Are you referring to the memo/description field in reports? It is something that will only show on some reports which particular report in the company overview reports is the description not showing and do you use the memo field at all?Thanks

Thank you for responding so quickly! 

 

I use the Account Description field in the chart of accounts in Desktop to provide further information on the line item when the item is used in reports.  For example when displaying the P&L report in Desktop it is helpful to see the extra description on the line item.  In the Online version the Reports->Management Reports->Company Overview report does not display the Account Description field when it is filled in.

 

Is there a way of overcoming this difference between Desktop and the Online versions of QuickBooks?
