When we received a credit request it comes in the form of a docket which will have the product description on it and the quantity along with the store details.
How can I find which invoice this product is in for that company

If the invoice has been entered in QuickBooks, you can run the Sales by Product/Service Detail Report filtered by the specific Product/Service to view invoices with this included (after running the report, select Customise > Filter > Tick Product/Service > Tick all which apply from the drop-down > Run report).
If you only have the product description and not the product name, you can instead use the Advanced searched function to locate the invoice. To do this, select the magnifying glass in the top-right corner of QuickBooks > Advanced search > Set the drop-down options to 'All transactions' > 'Line description' > 'Contains' > Enter the description in the text field > Search. This will list all transactions with the description included.
