Hi there, sazzad-hossain.

The error happens when the transaction you're trying to delete is linked to an inactive account.

I suggest reactivating the account that's associated with the expense you want to delete. To perform this, you'll have to go to the Chart of Accounts menu.

Here's how:

  1. Click Accounting at the left panel.
  2. Choose Charts of Accounts.
  3. Click the Gear icon above the ACTION column.
  4. Put a check on the Include inactive box.
  5. Choose the account you want to reactivate, then click the Make active link.

Once done, you can now delete the expense. Please follow the steps below.

  1. From the Chart of Accounts page, select the account.
  2. Click the View register link.
  3. Select the transaction, then click Delete.
  4. Click Yes on the pop-up message.

After that, if you want to make the account inactive again, please refer to this article on how to perform the steps: Delete an account on your chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online.
