In Accounts & Settings > Advanced > Automation, the "pre-fill forms with previously entered content" is "off" but QB is still auto-filling journal no. with old content ?

I have checked in incognito window - same problem.  I have deleted all cookies and still the same.  I turned to on, then to off still same.  Looks plain broken.

Let me provide some insights about turning off the auto-filling journal number, @Jenny-May.

 

Since you already turn off the feature in the Account and Settings section, but the issue persists, let's manually delete and enter your journal number and its content. This way, you can input the current data you want for the journal entry. 

 

I also suggest contacting our support team. They have the necessary tools to open your account and further investigate this matter. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Proceed to Help (?).
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
  5. Choose Start a chat or Get a callback from the next available expert.
