Invoice line item reports

Hi, I use Quickbooks self employed and looking to run a report to give me a breakdown of the line items within my invoices, not just the invoice total.

 

For example, ive used a line item called 'Waste Removal' since day 1, and i'm looking to see how much revenue has come from this service.

 

I cant seem to find a report that gives me a breakdown to invoice line level.

Hi jhjatkinson, thanks for posting on the Community 

 

The Sales by Customer Detail report provides an itemized line breakdown. You can customise this to show invoices only by selecting Customise on the report > Filter > Transaction type > Tick Invoice on the drop-down > Run report.

Hi Jim, please disregard the above response as this is relevant to QuickBooks Online only. 

 

In QuickBooks Self-Employed, it is not possible to run a report with invoice line level detail. We appreciate this would be a useful feature to have, and will pass this on as a feedback suggestion to our team.

Thanks Georgia, I really hope this can be added to the product, even if just a .csv download - i have diligently used invoice line items on the assumption i would be able to extract data to analyze performance and activities.
