Yes, Trevor. The Community forum is always available to assist you. Let me show you how to pull up a quick or create a custom chart in QuickBooks Online.

If you are using QuickBooks Online advanced version, we can create charts to visualize your business performance from the Performance Centre tab.

Here are ways to create a chart:

The first option is to click on the Create a Quick chart. Choose any reports from the drop-down to show them instantly on your dashboard.

Second, you can simply click the + Add New Chart. Proceed to the next step:

  1. Tap the Continue button.
  2. Give your chart a name.
  3. Select the type of chart such as Trend lineVertical barsPie chart, or Stacked bars
  4. Customise by adding a Name, Time period, and Group By.
  5. Filter another option, then compare your chart against a period by picking the previous period, the Previous year's same period, or None.
  6. Lastly, press the Add to Dashboard.

Another option is to create custom charts from scratch. Select either the Start by Report Creation wizard or Start by Report Creation wizard to build your custom report by searching for invoices, expenses, customers, and estimates.

If you are using other versions, you can look at the Profit and Loss report and filter the data to see how your income and expenses trend, or the Balance Sheet comparison to get a snapshot of your assets, liabilities, and equity. Then, export the data and create a chart via Excel file.

Share the specific reports you're interested in, and I'll help you set them up in QuickBooks Online. You can notify me by adding a reply below.
