My fiscal year is set & fixed in QBA desktop but on iphone app dashboard displays fiscal year as calendar year. have to use custom dates/reports to get correct result!?

When opening the app using a mobile device, the Profit and Loss will automatically set to last 30 days. You'll want to customize the date to your fiscal year. Here's a reference that you can use in customising your reports in QuickBooks Online.
