Solved

Of all the report dating options available, the most common report is missing. That is supplier balances by calendar month. How can I access this?

Hello again, @graham-bowman4.

On the same report, go to the Report Period section. You can select This month or Custom to provide your desired date range.

If you wish to have all the yearlong monthly report, currently this isn't available. You can export the report to Excel and combine them from there.

Let me know if there's anything else you need or you have other questions about reports. I'd be glad to help you more. Wishing you and your business continued success!

I can help you get the report you need, @graham-bowman4.

You'll have to customise the Supplier Balance Summary/Detail report in your QBO to get their monthly amount. Let me show you how:

  1. On the left navigation menu, click Reports.
  2. Enter Supplier Balance Summary or Supplier Balance Detail on the search field.
  3. Go to the Report period section and adjust the date range to monthly.
  4. Hit Run report to refresh the data.

To learn more about the report functionality in QBO, you can refer to following articles:

I'm still here to help you further if you have follow-up questions. Make sure to leave a comment or mention my name. Wishing you all the best!

Hi Honey Lynn,

Thanks for your speedy response, however I don’t see a monthly option in the report period box.
