Hi there, Kevin.
Yes, you can manually upload transactions to your credit card account and have them appear on your bank feeds. I'm here to show you how to do it.
Before your credit card account can show up on your bank feeds, it needs to have some transactions recorded. You can do this by connecting it to your bank or credit card's website or manually uploading a CSV file. I'll guide you on uploading a CSV file.
First, you'll need to get a CSV file from your bank or credit card provider. Once you have it, just make sure it's in the correct format. Then, follow the steps below to upload it.
- On the left navigation panel, click Transactions.
- On the Bank transactions tab, click the Link account dropdown. Then, select Upload from file.
- Upload the file. Then, click Continue.
- In the QuickBooks account dropdown, choose the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then, click Continue.
- Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then, select Continue.
- Select the transactions you would like to import. Then, click Continue.
- Click Yes, then Done.
After completing the process, your credit card account will be visible on your bank feeds.
