Hello, Is it possible to see a profit and loss report that shows month on month P&L, so for example I can see my P&L for a whole year but by each month on one chart? It would be very useful for me to see this data to see where peaks and troughs are... Thanks for any help.

Hey Its Lucy,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the community.

Unfortunately it is not possible to do this on the Self-Employed product, you would need to customise the report to run for each month and then export and copy each into an Excel spreadsheet to compare.

Hi Georgia, thanks for the reply. Is this something the developers will look to add? It does seem like there are some quite basic reporting functionalities that are missing that would be extremely useful.

Let me share additional information regarding Profit and Loss report in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I appreciate the idea you shared for all the cool features QuickBooks could have. I can definitely see why this would be super important. Having this kind of feature would save you time so you won't have to go over to your report and customise it in QuickBooks.
