Hi

I have QB Desktop and have a setting up a budget query

Co Year End is March

When I use the option to copy the info from the previous year only Apr to Dec is included and Jan to Mar entries are blank.

I have checked Co preferences and the company has never had a Dec YE.

Thanks

Hello CLP147, If we could ask you to check in the company tab>company information>report information that the financial year shows as end date March as the reports should run of the information of their and if it is March yes it should show that information. Let us know if you do find the date is correct in that section and we'll escalate this further.

Let me help you fix it, CLP147.

The unexpected behavior can be caused by a corrupted file. We'll run the Verify/Rebuild utility to detect the data damage. Here's how:

  1. Click File.
  2. Go to Utilities, then choose Verify Data.
  3. If QuickBooks detected no problems, there's no further action needed. If you receive a message, "Your data has lost integrity", the file is damaged. Just continue to Rebuild Data to correct the problem.
  4. When you Rebuild Data, you'll receive a message to back up your company file, just click OK. The utility starts as soon as the backup is finished.
  5. Click OK when you get the message "Rebuild has completed".
  6. Run Verify Data again to check for remaining data damage.

Once done, check the budget and verify if the January to March data is available.
