QuickBooks Pro 2015

Can anybody tell me where I may be able to get hold of QuickBooks Pro 2015 download. I have it installed on an old computer and have all the key and licence etc. It is only used a couple of times a year as it is more or less for a company that has ceased trading but still needs to be kept up to date. I have checked the Quickbooks website and this only goes back to 2016. Would really appreciate any help. Many thanks!

Thanks for reaching out to us, @Jen06. Allow me to share details about the QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) discontinuation in the United Kingdom.

 

It's our priority to help you stay compliant. However, we have decided to discontinue all QBDT services for our UK users starting on June 30, 2023, due to the recent changes to accounting and tax regulations. It involves all versions of QBDT Pro, Premier, and Enterprise.

 

Yes, you're right. The versions available on our Downloads & Updates page are from 2016 until the latest. Those from 2015 and earlier are unavailable for download since we're unable to guarantee older software will operate on newer systems. 

 

For now, you may want to reach out to retailers outside QuickBooks to search for available QBDT Pro 2015 downloads.

Additionally, you may want to transfer information to and from QBDT. Doing so makes it easy whenever you need to create a new company file, upgrade, or convert files.

I have a legitimate copy of pro 2015 which i have been using as a small business since 2015. i am happy with QB as it serves my purpose, however......my computer hard drive was corrupted and crashed. I bought a new computer running windows 11 but when i go to re-install, I get….. "register" i go through the motions fill in all the boxes and am told it did not finish. I am aware that there is no longer any support for desktop programs from QB but surely someone can help me get the validation number to register it again? I am appalled that it appears the only way I can fix this is to migrate to QB online, which I do not want to do. So a program that I legally bought and paid for as a one off. Is not! When I bought the program no one said “oh wait….we might discontinue it and therefore your license for life is in fact a license for X number of years. I expect I know the answer, surely there must be an answer to this deplorable situation?

Oh I forgot to add - I will never be forced into paying a monthly subscription when I have already paid for my goods - and as for not being HMRC compliant. I have just submitted my tax return (April) and they accepted it

Do you have a new computer to replace your old one?

I'm not sure this will work but you can try to make sure. Contact me in private and we can share the installer files for QB Desktop 2015 UK Pro.

I have the same problem quickbooks will block it when installed. You're going to have to pay $200  from people to get a dodgy one. I didnt bother just used a different platform and started all again 😥

My clients still use it today to access their historical data.
