Question

Reports are bypassing options screen and defaulting straight to current month. I need to run a transactions list by date for a previous period but can't. Any ideas?

Hello Annierbnsn

If this isn't a previously customised report the main other reason it may default to date is the browser itself causing a display issue.

Can we ask you to try clearing the cache and cookies in the browser you are using and then logging back into QuickBooks and running the report again?

Total stupidity on the part of Quickbooks/Intuit. !! With QB Desktop Pro you could easily change the reporting period covered by the VAT100 report for any period in the financial year at the time when you run the report so you could check VAT figures for any previous quarter. With QB Online some idiot who probably knows nothing about accounting has made the VAT100 report default to current quarter but with no option to run the report for previous quarters.. I reported this problem to QB but their response was useless, simply said they were aware of they problem and would eventually get round to fixing it. pathetic ! .I seriously wish I could dump QB Online and revert to QB Desktop Pro or even revert to Sage which I used for years before migrating (?? Upgrading ?? -Joke) to QB.
