Sales report by line item including descriptions

Hi 

 

Hoping that someone may be able to help me. I am looking for a sales report that shows the line level detail of invoices rather than just the totals.  I am quiet good at customizing reports etc. but can only find sales by customer summary or by product service summary and none that show the details within the invoices. Even the transaction reports are at invoice level.  Any help would be gratefully received as it will save me manually copying the data from each invoice.  P.s. I have searched for and don't have the option of Sales by Customer Detail report.

Hi LucyAlexandra, thanks for joining the Community 🙂 - the Sales by Customer Detail report is the only transactional report showing the description field of the invoice. If there are multiple lines on the invoice, the report shows the split (one row per product/service with the description of each). Which QBO subscription are you currently using (Simple Start, Essentials, or Plus)?
