Select a subaccount when raising a sales invoice

You can start by clearing the browser's cache and cookies. This helps retrieve missing functionalities while using QuickBooks Online.

Follow the steps to clear the cache for your browser.

• Firefox
• Google Chrome
• Safari for Mac
• Microsoft Edge
   

After that, make sure to restart your browser for changes to take effect. To have the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks Online, use a supported, up-to-date browser.

Once done, access your QuickBooks account and assign the sub-account to the item you're selling. Then, select the item when creating an invoice.

Here's how:

1. Go to Sales, then Product and Services.
2. Find and open the item.
3. From the Income account drop-down, select the sub-account you've created.
   
4. Click Save and close.

After that, create an invoice and select the item that is associated with the sub-account. Here are the steps you can follow.

1. Click +New, then Invoice.
2. Enter the name of the customer.
3. Complete other fields.
4. Select the item.
   
5. Click Save.
