Question

Since you will be dropping the app for Mac & Windows and we will be required to process all the accounts via a web browser are you still able to have multiple tabs?

Hi info971, thanks for your post

You can open QuickBooks in multiple tabs on the same browser, either by right-clicking on the tab and selecting 'duplicate' or by pressing the keyboard shortcut below:

  • For Internet Explorer: Press Ctrl + N. (Note: You will be signed in to the existing company on both windows.)
  • For Firefox: Press Ctrl + N. (Note: You won't be signed in to the second window but will remain signed in to the first one. The second window will allow you to log in to the existing company so that you may work using both screens.)
  • For Chrome: Press Ctrl + N. (Note: If you go to QuickBooks Online in that window you will be signed in to the existing company.)

Having considered all options and the workflow I feel that quickbooks have stopped thinking about their clients and customers.
1: You are dropping the App, for me it's been invaluable and a huge time saving tool.
2: Snap Receipts appear to have disappeared so I guess I will have to scan every receipt from now on, NOT GOOD.
3: Tags are driving me mad and I learn they can not be turned off.

I think it's time to consider other solutions for my two businesses.
