Dealing with missing important features can be challenging, especially when entering a start date for your financial year. Allow me to shed some light on the accounting preferences of your company.

As of the moment, the option to select a specific date in the Accounting section is unavailable. We value the feedback and ideas provided by our customers. They play an important role in helping us make improvements to our products and adding new features.

Let's send feedback about adding the option to enter a start date in the Accounting section directly to our developers. They can review your suggestions and consider adding them in future releases.

Here's how:

1. In your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company, head to the Gear icon in the upper right and select Feedback under Profile.
2. Type a brief description of the product suggestion in the field box.
3. Click Next to submit it.
