Hello there,

Due to the recent amendments in accounting and tax regulations, and with more changes expected in the future, we have decided to discontinue all QuickBooks Desktop services for our customers in the UK on June 30th, 2023. It applies to all editions of QuickBooks Desktop, including Pro, Premier, and Enterprise.

Since the discontinuation of QuickBooks Desktop, converting such files is unavailable. However, there is help available by reaching out to your accountant manager or contacting us. For more details and how to reach us, refer to this article: QuickBooks Desktop discontinuation support.

@Martax

You will need to purchase a third party service to convert data from QB Desktop UK version to QB Online or other applications. I would recommend starting your data from scratch in QB Online to lower your conversion costs. You can install the trial version of QB Desktop to access your historical data for good.

Other options, you can purchase the same third party service just to convert the current fiscal year OR set up your new account with beginning balances. Imho, converting the entire data will be pointless and expensive.
