VAT detailed report can NOT be sorted by name or Memo

Hello All , 

 

this feature used to work , but its broken , just nothing happens when clicking he sort by and then name or memo button its always sorted by date ..  this is way over a year now , and we cant work like that . only way it to export to a spreadhseet and reformat in order to sort by different columns 

 

we need help urgently

Greetings! I appreciate you dropping by and submitting your concern in the Community forum, Patrick. 

 

It is easy to sort and reformat the columns of your report. Simply click the small Gear icon, then Reorder columns. The reports column in QuickBooks is sorted in sequence. It means the arrangements of queues depend on your first to last selections. Once finished, hit Run report.

 

Additionally, a user might encounter unexpected behavior, such as runtime problems, in which case the issue can typically fix the issue via standard browser debugging. 

 

Let's first sign in to your QBO in a private window. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

 

Once you're in, reopen your QuickBooks Online account, and sort the columns again. If it's successful, return to your regular browser and clear the cache to start afresh. If the issue persists, we can try another supported browser. There can be momentary problems with QuickBooks Online with the one you're using.
