Question

Whereas on QB you can copy an expense, bill or journal, you can't seem to copy a deposit. Is this right and if not, why not? It would be useful to copy deposits. Thanks

Hello john-prendergast - welcome to the Community!

The copy feature isn't currently supported on bank deposits in QuickBooks Online. If you have regular deposits going into your bank account, you may consider setting up a recurring transaction for this instead. To do this, click the cog > recurring transactions > new > select deposit on the Transaction Type drop-down (note: this feature is only available in QuickBooks Online Essentials, Plus and Advanced). Recurring transactions can be scheduled (created automatically) or unscheduled - if you set this as unscheduled, you can select 'Use' beside the recurring transaction template to use as and when needed. You'll also be able to edit any details, such as the date and amount, at this point.
