Any idea why settled invoiced are showing in my debtors account? I have both the invoice and sales receipt, both linked and cannot work out why they are there.

Thanks!

Hello there, @Dazman.

Let me provide some details regarding the Debtors account in QuickBooks and help you from there.

All invoices or receivables transactions that are settled or not will always display in the Debtors (Account Receivable) account. These track transactions related to customers who owe you money and invoices that are unpaid.

Also, please know that sales receipts won't show in the account since it's a real-time transactions and not a receivable.

To properly use this account, I suggest seeking help with your accountant for more guidance. He/she may add suggestions based on what's more suitable for your business and to your books.
