Why is the VAT Audit report showing prepared by "z client 2" instead of our accountancy firm's name?

As per checking, we currently have an ongoing investigation relating to VAT Audit Reports showing random client names from the "prepared by" section. Please know that our engineers are already aware of this issue and are implementing measures to provide a timely resolution.

For now, you may consider modifying your management reports and manually entering the correct "prepared by" name as an alternative. To do this:

1. In your QBO account, go to Reports and click the Management Report tab.
2. On VAT Audit Report, select Edit from the Preview drop-down icon.
3. Modify the correct name details. Then, click Save and Close.

With that, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online (QBO) Support Team to have your account information added to the list of affected users. This way, you'll receive updates regarding the status of the investigation and ensure you'll get back to business.

Here's how to reach them:

1. In your QBO account, click the Help icon and select Contact Us.
2. Enter your concern and click Let's Talk.
3. Select Start a chat or Get a callback with a support expert.
