Trying to import the 2022 info to begin prepping 2023 1099 NEC Forms.  I've lost so much time trying to solve this.  I can't get past the message:  <<<Failed to import data from tax file. Error occurred while parsing the data from tax file.>>>

Advice? Solution?

I understand the inconvenience this has caused you, deecee1. Your concern is totally valid.

To fix this, we can perform browser troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue, as it could be an issue related to your browser.

To begin, let's access your account through your browser's incognito mode, which will prevent your browsing history from being saved. Here are the keyboard shortcuts based on your browser:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Alternatively, you can clear the browser's cache to eliminate common errors that may hinder the application from working properly. Clearing the cache will reboot the system, allowing you to work with a clean slate. You can also use other supported browsers to see if the issue persists.
