Why are all my 2023 transactions blocked from quickbooks when linking my bank? Why is manual CSV import banned as well? Only 2024 works.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) automatically downloads transactions up to a certain date when linking bank accounts, userneed123456. I'll furnish more details about this matter and ensure you can keep your financial data updated.

When connecting your account, some banks let you download the last 90 days of transactions. Others can go back as far as 24 months. From your description, your financial institution will only download the last 90 days of your data.

On the other hand, QuickBooks isn't restricting users from importing CSV files to enter older transactions. Make sure it's in the correct format before you do so to prevent errors. For the step-by-step guide, please see this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, once your older transactions are downloaded, categorize and match them to assign them to the appropriate account and prevent duplications. Then, reconcile your account to ensure your books are accurate.

I'll always be around if you have other banking concerns or questions about managing transactions in QBO. You can drop a reply below, and we in the Community will be happy to help.

I see only 90 days of data is supported.

When uploading it manually via CSV, the continue button does not work on step 4. It is broken in Firefox, Chrome, and Brave browsers. No errors returned. Data is in good condition.

@userneed123456

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.
