A client that wants to change accountants has a wholesale billing under her previous client. How can we move the client from this wholesale billing to my account?

She wants to transfer who manages her books and just want to be confident when discussing.

Hello,

Whoever is listed as her current accountant will have to remove them from their wholesale billing account.  Then as long as the former accountant is NOT the Master Admin, the customer can remove that former accountant and add a different accounting firm.


The former accountant HAS to remove them from their wholesale billing before anything else can be done though.

    I need to move my client from my wholesale account to her separate account  which then client can pay direct

    I got you covered, 0839.

     

    You can remove your client from wholesale billing with these steps:

    1. Click the Gear icon and select Subscriptions & Billing.
    2. Select any clients you want to remove. If that client is inactive, you need to make them active before you continue.
    3. From the Batch Actions dropdown, select Transfer billing to client.
    4. Select Remove.

    Note that they will only have read-only access to their QuickBooks company. Your client will get their full access back once they update their billing info.

     

    Furthermore, make sure to assign a new master admin if needed so they can have full control of their company.
