Question

A couple of my clients are not receiving my invoices as they once did. How do I go about getting this fixed?

Invoices have been sent successfully up until a month or so ago. It started with one client not receiving them and now there are two.

I understand the importance of receiving and seeing the invoices you sent. Let me help you so your customers can successfully access the invoice on their end. 

 

There are several reasons why your customer might not be receiving the invoice. It's possible that it wasn't sent successfully, or that it was sent but ended up in their spam or junk folders. With this, you can check the status of the invoices. In some cases, if you send the invoice to multiple recipients, some recipients won't receive the invoices, which will show as Undelivered

 

To check the status of your invoices and make sure they were delivered successfully, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to Sales, then select Invoices.
  2. In the Status column, check the status of the invoice. 

 

If the invoices were sent successfully, ask them to check their spam or junk folders. You can also check if their email is correct and edit it if needed. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Customers & leads, then select Customers.
  2. Select the customer who didn't receive the invoice.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Check the email address and edit it if necessary.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Resend the invoice to the customer.

 

Moreover, you can use your Gmail address to send invoices and other sales forms in QuickBooks.
