accounts payable reports

I am using Quickbooks Online Advanced.

I am looking for a payables report for open payables as of a specific date that includes the categories (accounts) of the open payable invoices.  In QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise this was available in the Accounts Payable Aging Detail report.  However I cannot locate a report in QBO that shows the "splits".

Hi there, @rshewman. Let's work on this together.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO) Advanced, you can run the Accounts Payable Aging Detail report like in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. Also, all transactions in this report fall under the Accounts Payable (A/P account). That's why the categories (accounts) column is unavailable here.

Additionally, you can customize it based on the data you want to view. Here's how:

  1. In the left navigation panel, pick Reports.
  2. Select Standard reports.
  3. Enter the Accounts Payable Aging Detail report in the Search field and click it.
  4. Go to the Customize option and modify the Report period.
  5. Click the Rows/Columns tab. Tick the box of the information you want to see in the report.
  6. In the Aging section, pick an Aging method.
  7. You can specify the Vendor, Location, Terms, and Due Date from the Filter part. To finalize the format, edit the Header/Footer.
  8. Once done, click the Run Report button.

To view your split transactions, you can pull up the Transaction List with Splits report. Then, customize it to specify the information you want to see.
