How do I add a user with read only access to a 1 user plan?

When you add a user, you can manage their roles, which enables you to limit their access to specific tasks and data within QuickBooks Online, @1Buccaneer. I’ll share some information on how to add and manage users in your account.

 

Please note that users assigned non-admin roles cannot add, edit, or delete admin users, even if they have been granted access to manage users, particularly if you are subscribed to QBO Simple Start. However, the user roles for QBO Essentials, Plus, and Advanced are customizable, allowing you to set specific permissions for your team. Additionally, user roles can be classified as either billable or non-billable. Billable users contribute to your user limit, whereas non-billable users do not.

 

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to add a user:

 

1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Manage users.

 

 

 

2. Click on Add user and enter the user’s name and email address.

 

 

4. Assign a role for each company from the dropdown menu.

 

 

5. Review permissions by selecting View all permissions.

 

6. Select Send invitation, then confirm by clicking Send invite.
