I have made some Quantity on Hand adjustments for year-end inventory and now would like to print off a report or summary showing the item and its variance, with total dollar adjusted amount. Is this possible within QB Manf & Wholesale 24.0?

Thanks!

QuickBooks Desktop offers a number of inventory-related reports, MD8618. However, summary reports will only see the current quantity on hand and the total value of the items. I'll share another way of getting the information you need.

I recommend running either the Inventory Valuation Detail report or an item QuickReport, which will provide all the necessary details. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu and hover your mouse over Inventory.
  2. Choose Inventory Valuation Detail.

You can also follow these steps on how to run an item Quick Report:

  1. Go to the List menu and choose Item List.
  2. Right-click on the item and select QuickReport.

To print both reports, just click the Print button and choose Report.

Thank you for the response and the detailed instructions. Although it is not exactly what I was hoping for, I was able to export to Excel and manipulate the data to create a report I was looking for.  Thank you again, much appreciated.
