After the recent update, the app will not let me make new invoices or estimates. Keeps saying the server can't be reached. Try again later.

I'll share some insights about this issue with the mobile invoices and estimates in QuickBooks Online.

 

If you're using an Android, please know there's an ongoing issue that users were unable to create invoices and estimates using the QBO app. Thus, it also received an error. Please know that our team is aware of this matter and is implementing measures to fix it. With this, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Support Team to add your account details to the list of affected users.

 

However, if you're using iOS, we can try refreshing your QBO app to refresh the application and resolve the common problems. A large amount of data in the cache might cause this. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Menu icon and tap Help & Feedback.
  2. Select Refresh Data.
  3. If you get a prompt message, "Caution. If there was a problem getting your latest QuickBooks Online data, you can refresh it now. It may take a few minutes."
  4. Tap Refresh to confirm.

 

From your phone's settings, choose Apps. Then, select the QuickBooks app from the list and click Storage. From there, tap Clear data.

 

If the issue persists, you can access your QBO through a web browser and create invoices and estimates.
