Am I able to open a second QB checking account and have all balances be insured since my balance has now exceeded $250k?

Welcome to the Community. I can provide clarification to your question about the QuickBooks Checking account.

As of now, the system supports one per account only. Currently, the option to add a second Checking account is unavailable.

In the meantime, you can transfer your money out of your Checking. You can move funds to another bank account to free up and not reach the limit.
