Thanks for reaching out to QuickBooks Community, mmofhou. Let me share some knowledge on how to clear the crashing issue when attaching an invoice using the QBO App on your iPad.

Sometimes, your QuickBooks Online (QBO) app with iPad may have a lot of data. Which can lead to issues with attaching invoices. To solve this problem, I recommend resetting the app data to clear the cache and refresh it to its default state.

Remember the following information:

Clearing the app's cache to remove outdated data can help resolve any crashes that occur when attempting to attach invoices. The accumulated cache within the app may be causing this unusual behavior. You can delete your history, cookies, and cache in Settings on your iPad.

Let's go over how to complete the tasks:

  1. Go to Settings and tap General iPad Storage.
  2. Select an app that's taking up a lot of space.
  3. To free up storage without deleting app data, tap Offload App.

And to reset the App:

  1. Click on Help in the navigation bar at the top.
  2. Then select Reset App Data. Allow some time for the process to complete and close the App.
  3. Reopening, remember to right-click the App and select Run as Administrator.

If you encounter the same issue, we can uninstall and reinstall the app. Please refer to this article for instructions on installing the app: How to download the QuickBooks Online mobile app.

In addition, how to mark invoices with a mobile device and access to a tool that you can use to undo any errors you make with customer payments in QuickBooks is provided in this article:
