Anyone else having issues with Time Activities by Customer Detail Reports?

Can no longer customize this report.  I use it to bill my customers daily.  Have been unable to pull reports since Wednesday October 27.  Have reported to support, but still no fix.  Anyone else having this issue?

I’ve got some information for you, @GSCI1644.


Recently, we’ve received an update about being unable to customize the Time Activities by Customer Detail report in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Since you’re experiencing the same thing, you can try performing troubleshooting steps first to resolve this.


First, open your QBO account in a private or incognito window to verify. You can use these shortcuts keys for quick navigation:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P


Once logged in, check the report if you’re able to customize it. If yes, get back to your regular browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use other supported browsers as an alternative.


If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our technical support to add your details to our impacted user list.


I’ve attached a reference in case you want the same report settings for future use: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online. It helps you access the information quickly without going through the customization process again.

I did the troubleshooting measures on Wednesday October 27th.  There is a case open for this issue.  I was able to get into the report for a limited amount of time on Friday October 29th, then it would not allow me to custom the dates.  I have just cleared the cache again and it is now allowing me access.  Hopefully it lasts this time.  Or will I have to continually clear the cache every so often?

The online platform uses the browser’s cache to run faster. However, these can sometimes become corrupted, which affects the platform's functionalities. This is the reason why we always recommend clearing your browser’s cache often to prevent issues.
