Anyone know how to update a contractor in Quickbooks email address?

    Hey there, @sftlei. Congrats on your first post in the Community! 🎉

     

    I'm here to help you update your contractor's email address in QuickBooks Online. It's super easy and takes only a moment. Check it out:

     

    1. Click the Employees tab.
    2. Scroll down to the Contractors section and click the name of the contractor.
    3. Hit Edit in the Contractor info section.
    4. Change the Email field to your preference.
    5. Click Save.

    This does not work. The email address is the ONLY field that is showing up grayed-out and you can NOT update it. Same in ALL browsers with private or cookies/data deleted. Same behavior.

      Just to ADD to previous comment - same thing happens when you go to prepare 1099s and click EDIT in step 2 to update Contractors info. The email is grayed out and can NOT be updated. Its bit frustrating.

       

      Anyone has solution for this?
