Are there sample charts of accounts available for an individual using QB to keep personal financial records? the one provided has no asset or liability accounts

I'm happy to help you out this afternoon. If you use the QuickBooks Test drive tool, you can create a test account and mess around with it however you want, without worrying about screwing up your actual account. This includes creating a sample chart of accounts.

This may be a useful idea and I will give it a try.  But what I was looking for was the availability of a canned chart of accounts that fits a sole proprietorship situation with commonly needed accounts already set up that can be used, modified or deleted, etc.
