Thank you for dropping by the Community, dsypeck.

It is crucial for certain businesses to have customer addresses printed exactly as needed, with the city, state, and zip each on their own line. This level of customization is important as it ensures that the addresses are tailored to meet specific needs. Let's go over some troubleshooting steps together so the customer's address is printed correctly on the invoice.

Your browser saves data from websites you visit, including login credentials, previous versions of the webpage, and so forth. These locally saved files are used rather than having to download them again, but if there is too much of it, QuickBooks Online may respond unexpectedly (QBO).

To start, log in to the online program in private browsing or incognito mode to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. From there, create an invoice and check the customer's address from there.

Here's how to bring up a private window in each browser:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift N

If the address is printed correctly, clear the cache to resolve display issues or errors that may occur due to outdated or corrupted files stored in the cache. Another supported browser is a good alternative tool.

If none of these suggestions work, updating  Adobe Reader/Acrobat to the latest version or repairing your Adobe installation can help resolve most printing problems in QBO. Next, print the sales form again and double-check the address.

If you continue to get the same result, proceed with repairing the application's installation. Here's how:

  1. Close Acrobat/Reader and all open web browser windows.
  2. Select the Start button at the bottom left of your screen.
  3. Type Control Panel and press Enter.
  4. Click Programs and Features and choose  Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
  5. Click Uninstall/Change.
  6. In the Setup dialog box, select Next and press the Repair button.
  7. Choose Next and Install.
  8. Once completed, select Finish and Restart your computer.

Next, log back into your company and print the sales entry. For more insights about the process, refer to this article: How to update, repair, or re-install Adobe Reader/Acrobat.
