Assigning sales goal by customer

Hi, We just moved from QB Desktop to online and I would like to set up a function that I have been manually doing in excel for a few years. Since we have long-term customers I would like to assign each of them a yearly sales goal that I want them to reach and be able to track monthly to ensure we are reaching that target goal. I imagine this funneling into forecasting. Along with assigning our sales reps a yearly sales goal.  Does anyone know if this works in Quickbooks Online?

Please know that Sales by rep is only available in QuickBooks Desktop. Setting up a yearly sales goal for each customer in QuickBooks Online is also unavailable.

 

In the meantime, you'll want to look for compatible third-party apps that offer setting up sales goals while tracking its progress. This way, supervising transactions and targets is more efficient. I'll show you how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Select the Apps tab on the left navigation bar (Take me there).
  3. Click the Find apps tab to view popular ones or search what you have in mind.
  4. You can also press the Browse category ▼ to explore more.

Additionally, QuickBooks Online offers Forecasting, a feature that helps you set both long-term and short-term pursuits for your business.
