I'm glad to see you here in the Community, @orbiteers1.

The option to add the pay now button to statements is currently unavailable. You can only enable it to invoices. To do so, you have to link your Payments account to QuickBooks. If you don't have one, you'll need to sign up for QuickBooks Online Payments.

Then, here's how to turn on and send online invoices:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Choose Sales on the left.
  4. Pick within Online delivery
  5. Hit the drop-down under Additional email options for invoices and choose Online invoice.
  6. Tick Save.

For more info about this process, please see this link: Take and process payments in QuickBooks Online

Also, to know when QuickBooks deposits customer payments into your bank account, you may check out our deposit times for the QuickBooks Payments page.

Feel free to leave a reply below if you have further concerns about online payments. I want to make sure you're taken care of, and I'm here to help you anytime. Take care always.

Please add a pay now button to statements.  It is so unprofessional to send many invoices for payment vs 1 statement.

Any update from QuickBooks on the multiple requests to add a "pay now" button to statements? Sending "reminders" to customers with multiple overdue invoices is very confusing for the customer.

Intuit, PLEASE enable "pay now" buttons with emailed statements!

YES! please add this feature and be sure to add it to desktop as well. It is not at all unusual for businesses to generate many invoices per month and then have payment made on the total balance. It's also especially helpful when the statement is being used as a reminder of a cumulative balance due. If payment cannot be made from the statement each outstanding invoice would need to be resent individually in order to have access to the "pay now" button.  Here's hoping this feature is added soon!

Super unprofessional to make a big corporate customer with multiple invoices pay each invoice separately. C'mon QBO, this is basic, add a payment link for a statement. I'm embarrassed to tell my customers I don't have this option. I will let them know it is QBO, not me.

@DCoop

QB Payment doesn't offer such feature. Consider having a 3rd party merchant service to do so.

Hello, Brent.

I, for one, would also like to have the option to pay my dues from a statement since it saves me time and clicks. I can see the benefit of this option for you and your customers.

It may still be in the works, or our developers are reconsidering adding the payment links for statements. To be transparent, I'm unable to check the complete roadmap or timeline for this feature.

So, in the meantime, I would suggest sending feedback if you haven't done it yet.

Click the Gear icon, then select Feedback

For now, we'll want to send those invoices one at a time so your customers would able to pay their dues timely.

If you need to check your aging invoices, I'll include this article if you need help: Run an accounts receivable aging report.

I'm all ears if you have concerns regarding your customer statements or invoices. If you have questions about your reports and other entries, let us know and we'll be here to help.

What about generating a pay now link using "Payment Links" as a workaround? You can copy the link and paste it into the body of the statement email.
