It isn't currently possible to add EBITDA calculation to Profit and Loss (P&L) statements in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Dan.

You can consider manually calculating EBITDA from the data in QBO's standard P&L report. Then, manually export the P&L report and add the row for the calculation. I can help you through the steps and on how you can send your suggestions to our Product Engineers.

Here's how you can run and export the report:

  1. In your QBO account, go to Reports.
  2. Select the Profit and Loss report.
  3. Click on Customize to display the data you'd like to be added to the report.
  4. Select Run report.
  5. Click on the Export icon beside the Print icon.
  6. Choose Export to Excel.

After this, manually add the EBITDA calculation to the report outside the software.

However, it's important that the software accommodates various business needs. I encourage sending your feedback to our Product Engineers to include this calculation in profit and loss reports in future updates. You can follow these steps to send one:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.

If you need to save the current customizations of the report, let me add this article as a guide: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online

We'll be here in the Community if you have further questions about running or customizing P&L reports in QBO. We're committed to offering ongoing support. Take care.
