Can find match show oldest invoice instead of newest?

When you try to match a bank transaction to an open invoice, the system usually displays the newest invoices first. However, if you prefer to view the oldest invoices first, you can arrange them in that order. This will ensure that the system reflects your desired outcome. To do that, here's how:

1. Go to Transactions and select Bank transactions.
2. Choose the transaction you want to match and click Find match.
3. On the Match transactions page, under Show dropdown field, select Open invoices.
4. Set a date range in the Date field from your desired oldest to newest invoice. This will ensure that the oldest invoice shows first before the newest.

After you match the transactions, they're recorded into QuickBooks. Review your work and make sure everything is correct in the Categorized or Reviewed tab.

1. Go to the Transactions menu and choose Bank Transactions. 
2. Under the For Review tab, select a bank transaction. 
3. Click the Find Match radio button. 
4. Find the Date column, and click the Date dropdown to sort the invoices according to your preferences. 
5. Once you're done making changes or matching with your transactions, you can now click Match.
