Can I add a line item in the new layout for invoicing?

i use to be able to click the plus sign and add a line. If I missed November 2nd and have gone all the way through the month, and need to add a line item in date order - the new layout will not let me.

Hello Jenny, welcome to the Community. I'm here to assist you in adding a new line between items on the new invoice layout in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

The plus icon that was available in the old layout is not present in the new one. However, there's another way of adding a new line in between your items. You can click on an empty line and hold the drag icon on your invoice page to rearrange the items.

 

 

Furthermore, you can do browser troubleshooting if the problem persists.
