Welcome to the Community, chris431. I'd like to share some information about adding a receipt to an invoice in your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account.

Currently, QBSE doesn't offer the option to add a receipt to an invoice. Please note that invoices in QBSE are for tracking purposes and do not impact your business or tax reports.

In case you want to record your income or a new transaction from a physical receipt, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu.
  2. Click Add Receipt.
  3. Upload an image of your receipt.

QuickBooks Self-Employed will scan the receipt and enter the details for you. This process may take a few seconds to complete.

For further details on how to categorize transactions and attach them using the mobile app, please refer to this article: Record or Attach Expense Receipts in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Additionally, you can visit this article on how to add sales income and expenses: Manually add transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any further questions regarding adding receipts to invoices in QBSE. I am always here to help. Take care.
