Can i add processing fees to a pledge payment in quickbooks online?

I can add processing fees to a sales receipt but I need to do this for a payment made online for accounts receivable (a pledge).

In recording a pledge made online for accounts receivable, you can create a service fee to add as a line item in your pledge/invoice in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @wcrls-arkansas-g.

 

To add a fee with a detailed pledge description, create the processing fee as a service item.

 

Let me show you how:

 

  1. In your QuickBooks, go to Settings and click Product and Services.
  2.  Select New, then choose Service.
  3. Enter the name of the service in the Name field. 
  4. You may decide a category to describe the fee in the Category dropdown. 
  5. Set up the rest of the fields, then hit Save and close

 

After that, you can now add the service fee to pledge/invoices. If you already sent it, follow these steps:

 

  1. In Sales, choose Pledge/Invoice
  2. Click the pledge that you want to add the service fee.
  3. Select Edit pledge.
  4. Choose the service fee that you created in the Product/Services dropdown.
  5. Enter the amount of the service fee in the Amount filed.
  6. You may add a Note to customer to describe the fee. 
  7. Once done, select Review and send

 

Otherwise, create a new transaction and add the service fee item.
