Hello there, Melinda. I'm here to help you charge shipping fees on your customers' invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Yes, you can charge shipping to a customer on their invoice. To do this, you need to create a service item first.

Here's how:

  1. On the left Menu go to Sales, then select Product & services.
  2. Click New, then choose Service.
  3. Fill out the necessary fields.
  4. Hit Save and close.

Once done, it's time to create an invoice and then add the charge shipping fees to it.

Here's how:

  1. Click the +New and select Invoice.
  2. Fill out the necessary fields.
  3. Select a product/service you offer to the customer.
  4. On the next line, enter the shipping fee service item that you've created.
  5. Select Save and close.

In addition, you can consider checking this article to personalize and add specific info to your sales forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QBO.
