Can I customize the "detail type" dropdown list under Expenses or Other Expenses?

I have multiple cars with expenses and I want to run a report that shows expenses by vehicle but can't seem to make headers with each vehicle. I would then need to have subcategories under each car with gas, parking, maintenance etc., ALL under vehicle expenses.

At the moment, the option to personalize the categories in the Detail Type drop-down is unavailable. The addition of the customized function to the program will surely benefit many users, enhancing their overall working experience.   1. Open your QBO company, and go to the Gear icon at the top to select Feedback.
  2. Type a brief description of your product suggestions in the field box.
  3. Click Next to submit.
