Question

Can I disable credit card and bank transfer reception from invoices I send from the mobile app? I can’t find a place to turn it off in the app.

Ever since the new version of invoices all of my invoices have the credit card and bank transfer reception enabled when I email the invoice to my client. I want that off by default. There is a setting in settings on the mobile app but tapping on it does nothing. I called QuickBooks support 2 months ago but they had no solution. I really don’t want Intuit stealing 3% of my income just because I forget to uncheck something that I never wanted on to begin with.

You ought to be able to disable the feature within the Settings menu. If tapping the option isn't having any effect, we can try clearing the app's cache files. Doing so helps in resolving any sort of errors in the system.

 

For QuickBooks Online app:

 

  1. Select the menu at the top right.
  2. Choose Help & Feedback. 
  3. Select Refresh Data and Refresh.

 

In your Phone Settings:

 

  1. From your phone, choose Settings.
  2. Click on General and select iPhone Storage. 
  3. Select an app that's taking up a lot of space. 
  4. To free up the storage without deleting the documents and data for the app, select Offload App.

 

If you get the same result, uninstall and reinstall the QuickBooks Online app. This is to ensure you get the most recent version of the application.
