I have created a Credit Memo and in the Rate column, the zeros are on the next line, but there is a ton of space for it to all be on the same line. Example: 24,450.00 looks like 24,450.                                      `                                                                                    00

Welcome to the Community space, Virginia. I'll provide more information about columns and widths inside a credit memo in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Yes, you can modify the column widths inside a credit memo. You'll want to edit the Standard template inside the Custom Form Style page and adjust the widths to your desired preference. After doing this, changes will apply to your sales forms and when you enter a credit memo. To double-check, click the Print or Preview button on your Credit Memo page.

When you're ready, these are the steps to modify the column widths:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the top-right corner, click the Gear icon and choose Custom form styles.
  3. Locate the Standard template and below the Action column, click Edit.
  4. Click Content, and then select the Item section of the sample template.
  5. Select Edit Labels and Widths and adjust it to your preference.
  6. Once you're ready, click Done.

On the other hand, I'm adding these articles to help you apply credit memos to an invoice and learn more about how to personalize sales forms to watch them with your business inside QBO:
